Elevate Church

In Erie for another work related trip.... God is good!! ... I've been having a "pity party" all weekend, depressed and was even worse this morning when I reminisced about unsuccessfully searching for a place of worship in Erie, PA when I was here last month. .....decided to not even try this trip, but go out to breakfast instead.... convinced in my IGNORANCE that God was not working in this community. Boy, was I wrong!!! On my way to pout over breakfast I was circling around the mall road and behold a huge full parking lot in front of a converted out-building now pumping out 4 services a weekend of evangelical non-denominational worship. ELEVATE was the name of the place, and that is what they did for my thoughts this weekend. They were specifically doing a call to Baptism each of the three Sunday services this week and that was the entire focus of worship this week ........and I was shamed, humbled and gave praise to God when no less than 40 people got baptized in the second service alone. God is at work in powerful ways all across this nation. ....don't believe the vocal minority, nor the discouragement the enemy might bring. God is Good!!

When I first moved to Erie, a friend I randomly met Krystal and Mont brought me here as guest with my son. I was so happy to find that they had separate classes for my son to attend and receive the word and teaching of God. I enjoyed the way the service was conducted, the pastor and how well the music group did. I loved this church very much because it makes you want to come back. Everyone is interested in knowing you or getting to know. The best part is its a come as you are church. I have been also tried out the online services due to COVID, this has been very successful, I was glad to find I could still make prayer requests and enjoy the very powerful praise team. I hope to be in again very soon. God is good.
